Where you buy Tirz makes a BIG difference.
Name a Tirzepatide supplier mistake. I made ALL of them
over the past year!
Packaging. First lesson I learned is how some pharmacies ship that tiny little vial vs. how they all SHOULD be shipped unless the temperatures will never go above 45 degrees during transit.
CosmeticRx routinely shipped my monthly supply in those thin corrugated 2nd Day Air 9x12x2-inch boxes that arrived damp. Inside the thinly padded silver pouch was one fully melted ice pack and a warm vial. Wish I had $1 for every time I complained, and was told "It's OK" by a guy who said his name is Tom.
Citizen Meds was slightly better with their 8x8-inch
designer box, but the $299/mo was no bargain.
Today I know of only 2 providers who deliver like it's going to outer space. Corrugated box, styrofoam cooler, 2 large ice packs. Belle goes one step further with the vial inside a padded UPS bag. Not sure if Trinity includes a padded bag does use the same carton and cooler.
Vial Labels. Every day I see posts on Facebook from people who aren't sure how much to inject because they can't decipher what the vial label really means or that label doesn't match the paper label on a plastic Rx container or an insert from the pharmacy.
Compounding Lab Data Proper medication vials should contain important information about the contents AND usage. Sadly, MANY of them don't and some even give BAD information. that can result in tossing the medication prematurely.
The 2 labels here are from ProRx (where I started my Tirz journey) and a more recent vial from Greenwich Labs. IMHO, there are problems and mistakes on BOTH these labels and I'll tell you exactly why:
How much to inject. Neither of them tells you in simple "unit" terms with standard insulin syringes.
Vial size. Both of these labels were on 8mL which is contrary to what labels say.
Beyond Use Date (BUD) may be wrong. Labs intentionally put shorter dates for CYA (cover your ass) reasons. I say the dates are wrong because my own testing and having received vials from other labs tells me that when properly stored, the contents may be good for up to a year (not the 28 days it says on the Greenwich label).
Contents descriptions are inconsistent. For this reason alone you should NEVER try to calculate your proper dosage from these labels. Best dosage information should be provided by the doctor or business that sold you this medication. Nobody else.
WARNING! I constantly check new online clinics offering Tirzepatide. Just explored CoreAgeRx and was shocked at what I found. Without asking height, weight or BMI I was immediately asked for payment of up to $1788 without telling me what concentration of Tirzepatide I would receive or vial contents and possible additives. In simple terms, that is DANGEROUS! But, wait ... the payment page says you may win an Apple Watch. Here's one they forgot to add to their money grab ... "You may also win a trip to the ER."
Dollar Dad Club Blatant false advertising gets my goat faster than anything. Home page of this provider says $139/month for any dosage. Then you go through their signup and if you selected 15mg/wk as your dosage they jump the price to $167/month AND offer only 1 plan for $999.
I'm not done with this page but feel that too many people need the aforementioned info now. Come back to this website again because I will be adding new information almost daily.
AltRx Every so often I go back to Groupon to see what new Tirz scam may appear OR possibly find an honest new/better provider for myself. AltRx pricing caught my eye so I chose their 3month plan. However, before doing so I went to youtube and watched their video which clearly showed that they were providing Tirz from ProRx (my fav Tirz at the time). Long story short, after I paid the $289 to Groupon and the extra shipping fee to AltRx, I found out they were not using ProRx. Before they processed my order, I cancelled the order with AltRx and expected a full refund. That's when the lies began. AltRx only refunded the $30 shipping and told me that Groupon would refund the $289. WRONG! Groupon does not give refunds once they issue the merchant voucher that you forward to the actual seller. Went back to AltRx and they refused the refund even though we all know that Groupon forwards payments to sellers. Disputing the credit card charge is how I finally got my full refund.
Betterme Rx They think I want to become a "3rd-world country" starved model. Their signup process asked my starting (current) weight but NEVER asked how much weight I wanted to lose from my 5'8" male body.
Betterme assumed I wanted to lose 50 pounds, nearly 1/3 of my total weight. If I was crazy enough to do that I might wake up in a hospital if I didn't die at home first. This is what betterme website showed me.
wellmedr. IMHO a better name: "well kiss my ass dr". They bombarded me with emails and phone calls non-stop for 2 WEEKS. Mentioning 3 fed complaints finally stopped them. Wait, did I nuke a good Tirz provider? The "$150/mo price" requires $1,800 prepay (and your blood?) to wit I say ... NEXT!
