CosmeticRx: A Trip to Never Again Land
I started my weight loss journey last Fall using a Groupon Deal* to get a great first month 9mgs. price on Tirz.
When you activate the coupon you are switched over to a website that will actually process your order. However the REAL reason you are led down this “yellow brick road” is so that the Wicked Witch of the West can collect your payment info for their subscription trap by making you pay a separate charge for the shipping of the magical potion.
As the witch cackles, what she is REALLY excited about is her ability to start billing $299/mo (or more) as part of the subscription because in the teeny weeny print buried in the gobblygook terms of your shipping charge payment, you just signed up for an expensive (possibly lifetime) subscription that might make your other long-term payments seem like bargains.
When my first slightly damp cardboard FedEx letter-size box arrived in September, I found a foil bag containing a nearly empty little glass 8mL vial with a label that said 9mgs. inside and info to use ¼ of that each week to begin my journey. That Tirzepatide WAS good stuff from ProRx Labs and my body began to shrink like a balloon with a pin stuck in it.
Boom. I later discovered they had enrolled me in a subscription at $299/mo. for shipments I didn’t intend to purchase. I immediately started disputing the credit card charges and voiced my displeasure about CosmeticRx with a review on Groupon.
For my second and third month I switched to Citizen Med who properly upped my mgs. so I could continue down the yellow brick road to Happy Body Land but I was paying close to $300/month, so my bank account wasn't as happy as my body.
That’s when I received a phone call from a man who acted like The Wizard of Tirz Land but sounded more like a used car salesman to me. “I will fix everything kind sir” is roughly what he said and he did. From November 2025 thru May 2026 I received my vials with the correct Tirzepatide levels and magical power.
June 3, 2026. Instead of receiving my happy box, the vials contained HALF the normal/expected Tirz. What on earth was going on behind the curtain? When we spoke by phone, the Wizard claimed the good Tirz factory (ProRx) had some kind of catastrophe — maybe Flying Monkeys, a tornado, who knows — and the half-full vial was better than all the candy in Lollipop Land.
Following the Wizard’s advice, I adjusted my weekly dosage. Within 1 week, Oreos, KK (Kit Kats or Krispy Kreme Glazed ... I alternate) and other treats in my kitchen began speaking to me. “Eat me, no eat me first …ignore the Oreos” is what the crispy chocolate bars were screaming at me. By day 6, I got on my bathroom scale and wanted to cry (yes ladies, some macho grown men DO cry).
“Something is wrong with your new more powerful brew” is what I told the Wizard. He tried to convince me that everyone else “loves the new supercharged nuclear potion” but I will get you a free replacement from a new Tirz factory. That was 4 days short of TWO MONTHS and all I received were empty promises. In the meantime, I decided the Tirz in that half-filled vial might as well be Martian Water, rather than a REAL helper.
Using my magic wand (a/k/a doing internet search) I found that 61% of other people using the supposedly powerful Tirz from GreenWITCH (Greenwich) Lab were also unhappy munchskins so my June 2026 experience was not my imagination.
Thus ends my tale of getting Tirzepatide from CosmeticRx.
Did I find a new/better Tirzepatide factory? Hell YES! and they ship it like it's going to outerspace, but I'm saving that for my next tale because I have to walk my dog now.
